Competition rules

  • Auditions in Maisons Laffitte
  • The competition is open to pianists of all nationalities
  • The awards ceremony will take place at the end of the auditions
  • Audition dates and times are subject to change
  • Pieces must be played from memory except for contemporary works*
  • Registration fees: €120 (free for candidates of Ukrainian nationality)

Excellence program

Competitors to present a programme
lasting a maximum of 20 minutes
comprising 3 or 4 works
from different periods or aesthetics: 

Competitors who exceed the timing will be interrupted by the jury.

One "Etude"

Choice of a baroque or classical work (without repeats).

A romantic and/or modern and/or contemporary work.*

Members of the jury are expert pianists with an outstanding musical reputation. They are chosen by Anne QUEFFELEC. Their reputation, competence and integrity contribute to maintaining the excellence of this competition.
