The Winners of the 2024 Competition
Aleksandr, who was the first prize in our 2018 competition, will perform on January 31 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
The Russian pianist will present a program inspired by tales, with the first part of the ballets Sleeping Beauty and Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky transcribed by Mikhail Pletnev and inspired by the tales of Grimm and Hoffmann. In the second part, Aleksander will perform Stravinsky’s The Firebird and Paintings of an Exhibition, two works inspired by Slavic folklore.
2024 winner of the Concours International de Piano d’Île de France
Jan Jakub Zielinski was born in 2001 in Warsaw. He came to France when still a small child and began learning the piano at the age of 6 at the Conservatory of Music and Dramatic Art of Antibes – Juan les Pins, then at the Jacques Melzer school in Fréjus, under the tuition of Noël Bianchini.
In 2016, he won the gold medal from the Antibes Conservatory. He pursued his musical training at the CRR d'Aix en Provence in the class of Michel Bourdoncle and obtained the Diploma of Musical Studies with the highest honors in 2018. Between 2019 and 2022, he was a student of Janusz Olejniczak at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. In October 2022, he started his master's degree in the class of Katarzyna Popowa-Zydron, at the Felix Nowowiejski Academy of Music, in Bydgoszcz.
Jan Jakub developed his musical skills during lessons and masterclasses led by exceptional artists and has already won numerous awards including first prize at the Concours international de Piano d’Ile de France in the Diplôme de Concert section in June 2024. He takes part in festivals and has given recitals in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Italy and Spain.

Takehira KAMOGAWA won the special prize «Spiriades» of the International Competition of Île-de-France 2023. He arrives especially from Japan with his beautiful sensitivity to kick off the 11th edition of the Spiriades. Takehira occurred in the church Saint-Nicolas de la Frette sur Seine.
Progam:
The association Opus Yvelines, in the person of its president, is particularly honoured to receive from Jacques Myard the medal of the city of Maisons-Laffite, in recognition of its activity to promote culture and music for more than 25 years. The event took place on June 8, 2024 during the Concert Diploma Category awards ceremony, in the presence of a large audience of personalities, sponsors, spectators and musicians.

ODEON in TREMBLAY-EN-FRANCE
Dmytro Semykras was born in Sumy, Ukraine in 2001. He began studying piano at the age of 5 with Natalya Hubicheva. From 2011 to 2020, he was a student at Sumy High school of art and Culture. Over the years, he perfected his art and worked tirelessly to refine his technique, notably with teachers D.S. Bortniansky and Svitlana Morozova. From 2021, he continues his teaching in Austria at the Kunstuniversität in Graz, in the class of Milana Chernyavska.
Dmytro has performed as a soloist at international festivals in Kaunas, Lviv, Palma de Mallorca and Stockholm. He participates in international competitions and has won prizes on numerous occasions. He is notably laureate of the Volodymyr Horowitz International Competition for Young Pianists (Ukraine, 2011, 2016, 2019 – 6th, 3rd and 2nd prize), of the Krainev International Competition for Young Pianists (Ukraine, 2021 – 1st prize) and the International Competition “Mercy, Maestro!” (Belgium, 2021 – 2nd prize).
In 2023, he won 1st prize in the Ile-de-France International Piano Competition.

Faithful to its commitment to young artists, Pro Musica invites each year the 1st prize of the Ile de France international piano competition of which it has been a partner for seven years.
The members of the jury, chosen by Anne QUEFFELEC, contribute through their reputation, their competence and their integrity to maintaining the level of excellence of the competition Chaired by Jean-Claude VANDEN EYDEN, regularly called as a member of the jury of the International Queen Elisabeth Competition, as well as than in other international competitions, and Honorary President of the Chopin Foundation, the jury crowned, on June 10, 2023, this 22-year-old Ukrainian pianist who largely dominated the competition whose candidates were, according to the jury, of a very high level. This year, Dmytro SEMYKRAS is the winner of the 24th Ile de France international piano competition

Pianist Danylo Saienko, originally from Ukraine, a rising piano star, has won many awards in the international compétitions.
He won the 1rst Prize in 2022 in the international Piano Competition of Ile de France.
The 24rd International Piano Competition of Ile-de-France will be held from 3 to 10 June 2023 in Maisons-Laffitte (Yvelines - France). This prestigious yearly event welcomes 240 candidates from the world's leading music schools. Anne Queffélec, Honorary President, the town of Maisons-Laffitte and numerous partnerships support the Opus Yvelines association, organiser of the competition.
