Competition rules

The competition is open to pianists of all nationalities.
Pieces must be played from memory excepted for contemporary works*.

The age limit is 32.
Draw for audition times : 7th June 2023 at 4.30 pm (Absence will lead to elimination).
Qualifying auditions : 8th - 9th June 2023.
Final : 10th June 2023.
Awards ceremony : 10th June 2023 at 7.00 pm (candidates must attend in evening dress).

Concert Pianist program


8th - 9th June 2023

Qualifying auditions *
maximum of 15 minutes

One Etude (excluding Debussy)

One movement of a sonata by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven or Schubert (which can be played again for the final audition).

A work by a French composer
from the 19th century or later.

10th June 2022

Final audition *
maximum of 45 minutes 

Competitors to present an open programme comprising a maximum of four pieces from different periods and aesthetics.

Pieces presented during the qualifying auditions may not be played again, except the classical sonata in its complete version.
